Upon delivery of an order Insert Manager automatically generates
bar-coded skid tags for tracking the insert throughout it’s life cycle. Piece weight
samples are made to accurately verify actual counts from the printer. If necessary,
a detailed claim to damaged inserts may be recorded including categorized damage
types, shortages and photo uploading capabilities.
All logistics are performed using Windows Mobile™ capable devices, PDAs and wireless
scanners. Bar-coded locations allow operators to simply point and place when moving
insert skids to inventory storage or staging to production.
Insert Manager provides a seamless interface with Cintech’s Package Manager and
open standard interoperability with Inserter machines and other planning systems.
From pick lists generation to machine fulfillment and automated consumption, Insert
Manager maintains real-time visibility of inserts while streamlining the production
workflow process.
